We believe that money has a deeply spiritual dimension…
Money is a form of energy that connects one person to another and strengthens the bonds of community.

What is the Annual Growth & Renewal Fund?

The Annual Growth & Renewal Fund will provide resources for short-term, smaller-scale yet high-impact enhancement projects for each section of GMWS through outright, charitable gifts. This year’s faculty-selected projects will invest 75% of the funds toward the Early Childhood, Lower School and Middle School, and High School Arts curriculum. New this year, 25% of each gift will be invested in the General Endowment Fund which will support all areas of the school in perpetuity.

Your 2019-2020 Gift Will Support these Projects:

Early Childhood faculty wish to bring art into the yard and garden with new wooden, child-friendly gates and fence toppers designed to invite imagination. We will include components that make the elements (air, water, fire, and earth) visible, accessible, and interactive for the young child.

Lower/Middle School aspires to redesign and renovate some of the art spaces, especially the Handwork Room, so that we can better fulfill our arts curriculum mission. And, aims to enrich and support the arts curriculum with new materials, including a set of ukuleles, to bring new means of expression to our students.

High School wishes to invest in new Fine Arts room cabinetry and blackboards to make materials more accessible and allow for better organization, larger tables in the Applied Arts room to more effectively accommodate students, expansion of the hanging system in the hallways of Rose Hall to allow more student work to be exhibited and enhance the experience of all who use the building, and reorganization of the Costume Room with new racks and shelving units making the task of costuming plays much more user-friendly and efficient.

The Annual Growth & Renewal Fund drive begins each November and is complete by the end of the school year ~our goal is 100% participation!

All contributions must be made before June 30, 2019 to be installed by next fall, school year 2019-2020.
